West Yorkshire Police
From TheStudentWiki
West Yorkshire Police is divided up into a number of divisions. Your college or university will fall within one or more of these divisions.
Each division has a Neighbourhood Policing Team (known as NPT).
The three aims behind Neighbourhood Policing are:
- Dedicated and accountable teams with local ownership
- Intelligence-led targeting of the problems that matter most to the public
- Joint action by police, partner agencies and the public

Neighbourhood Policing
The NPT covering any location can be found by entering the postcode into the Neighourhood Policing search facilty. Each NPT has its own web page, which is used to inform the public of the latest initiatives to address specific problems in that area.
If you need to travel to your local division maps can be found at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/maps.
One of the most heavily student populated areas of Leeds is covered by the North West Inner Neighbourhood Policing Team. North West Inner NPT have a dedicated Student Liaison Officer PC Carole Munsey. See Carol's video, giving student crime prevention advice, on 999TV.
