The Millrace Restaurant
Located at the bottom of Kirstall Lane, near Kirkstall Leisure Centre. This pleasant organic restaurant has a nice relaxing atmosphere and lovely food. A great place to take your parents to impress them. Watch out for the chairs, they are so heavy you may think they are fixed to the floor!

Student social network
miuny.com is a new social network that will be launching next year for students only. A handful of lucky Leeds Met students will be in with a chance of receiving an exclusive invite to the beta test of the site early in the New Year.
All you have to do is go to miuny.com and leave your email address. Those selected for the online beta test will be contacted via email early next year.
