The Public Relations Student Society offers talks, workshops and networking events of interest to public relations students. It is run by students with the support of faculty members and supported financially by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Most events are open to all; some events may be restricted to CIPR student members.

Events take place at 6.30pm on Monday evenings in Lecture Theatre A at Headingley Campus unless otherwise stated

Monday 8 October, 6pm Wildfoods Festival, a strategic PR campaign Gerry Morris, Morris Communications Ltd, New Zealand

Monday 15 October How the internet is changing everything - and that includes PR D-J Collins, Google (Lecture Theatre B)

Monday 29 October Fight night: in-house versus consultancy Chaired by Justin McKeown, regional chair of CIPR and Leeds Met PR graduate

Monday 19 November Retail Public Relations Sara Tomkins, Connect Point
