• Part time jobs. The ways to go about for jobs is as below: - Register with university job shop. - You can also register with Joblink – The job shop of University of Leeds.
- Register with local recruitment agencies like Kelly Services, Adecco, Blue Arrow, City catering etc.
- To maximize you job search, use internet job sites like www.monster.co.uk, etc.
Don'ts
• Don’t do things because your friends do them or said to do them. Take your time to know and realize things / people / situations, so that you understand and know why you decide to do things or work in a certain way and then be responsible for them. It’s your life and this is your opportunity to make your self reliant in terms of your thinking.
• Don’t take things for granted.
• Do not look at this as a place devoid of problems….problems can come anywhere. Keep a positive attitude and never quit attitude. You only learn by mistakes. I read somewhere that that “EXPERIENCE is not what happens to you, but what YOU DO when it happens”. Good / Bad things happen to all, what you learn and how you improve makes the difference.
