How to publicise the wiki

The Student Wiki is currently a well-kept secret. Over the last few months we have been building up the number of users and the number of articles. Now we're ready to publicise it to students in the University.

How do you suggest that we go about it? Add your suggestions to the list below:

What I would do is ....

1. Create code snippets for people who host to add a link to the student wiki on theyre site e.g.

Or, crazy as it might sound, get a myspace! Any offers to set up a myspace for the wiki?

2. Issue social podcasts from Wikipedia Day (15/1) up to the launch event. These should be a mixture of adverts for the wiki plus messages of good will.
