Discothèque has been open for two years now in the centre of Leeds city centre, offering a different theme and type of music on different days. Hip-hop and ‘R & B’ is played every Friday. When it first opened tickets were £5, they have now inflated by %100 to £10. This could be because of the popularity or because of some of the big, well known Dj’s that play there. It consists of two rooms, the upstairs one, the largest of the two play Hip-hop and 'R & B' whereas the downstairs one plays more old school, also the downstairs part is more of a chill out lounge/bar area. It is a very busy, live atmosphere and a very good night out. It is open from 10.30 until 4 and not too far from a taxi rank!!
