File policies

What files should and should not be uploaded, preferred file types, naming conventions etc

Wikipedia currently employs a 'fair use' policy for the use of images within articles, does anyone know how this might translate into UK law?

Deletion

Criteria which have to be fulfilled for an article to be deleted, what processes to go through to request an article be deleted

An article should be deleted if one or more of the rules of the wiki have been broken and the issue cannot be resolved by editing the article.

A deletion requests page would allow users to request the deletion of a page by a Sysop or Beaurocrat. As required, a more comprehensive deletion policy can be developed.

Roles

There is one database administrator who has responsibility for managing the base software, applying upgrades and patches, resolving any system malfunctions.

There are ** admistrators ('sysops') who have the the ability to block users' addresses, clean up vandalism on pages, hide valdalism from page history, protect pages.

There are also ** bureaucrats who have the ability promote sysops to bureaucrat status and rename user accounts.

sysOps, editors, arbitration of arguments, etc
